Durga Bhavan

Welcome to the enchanting village of Baliya, nestled near the Raiyam Sugar Mill in the picturesque Madhubani District of Bihar, India. Here, amidst the rustic charm of rural life, stands a revered and ancient shrine that has been a source of solace, faith, and devotion for generations – the Goddess Durga Temple.

The puja was started by revered Shri Parmeshwar Chaudhary in 1935 AD.

This sacred abode, devoted to the mighty Goddess Durga, has been a cornerstone of spiritual life in Baliya for decades. It is not merely a physical structure but a testament to the unwavering faith and trust that the villagers of Baliya place in their beloved deity. To them, Goddess Durga is not just a divine entity but a guardian and protector who shields them from the trials and tribulations of life.

The management and maintenance of this temple are entirely in the hands of the dedicated villagers, who have undertaken this sacred responsibility as an act of devotion. Their tireless efforts and deep-rooted belief in the Goddess serve as the driving force behind the temple’s continued existence and significance.
